Description

No. 48 High Street is a house that features elements from the 18th and 19th centuries, likely built on an earlier structure. It has a timber frame with plastered walls and a red plain tiled roof. There are chimney stacks at the rear, one on the left and one on the right, the latter of which is shared with No. 46. The house has two storeys, with three vertically sliding sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor and two on the first floor, which also have margins. The central entrance is a six-panel door with a simple surround.
