Description

The outbuilding located to the southeast of Number 122, The Swan Public House, dates back to 1671 and was altered in the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a machine tile roof and features large brick stacks at both the east end and the center. The building is two stories tall with an attic and has two projecting gables. The 18th-century alterations include two-storey canted bay windows with hipped roofs and corbelled brick cornices. The windows are three-light wood mullion casements, with Yorkshire sliding windows on the first floor. The recessed center of the building has a central door topped with a cornice hood, flanked by two-light wood casements on either side, and two two-light leaded casements on the first floor. The attic storey of the gables also features three-light leaded casements.

Additionally, there is an early 17th-century west wing that is timber framed with brick infill, also two stories tall with an attic and a gable. This wing has a half-glazed door on the right, two three-light casements on the left, one three-light casement on the first floor, and one two-light casement in the attic, all with leaded glazing. The rear elevation includes one gabled dormer and a short gabled two-storey wing, along with a longer one-storey wing that is timber framed with brick infill on the east side. There are also later one-storey additions. The linked outbuildings to the southeast, dating from the 17th century, are timber framed with brick infill and feature a tiled roof.
