Description
Willow House with Stable Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Amersham High Street, formerly listed as No 147. The structure is made of red brick and features an old tile roof with a moulded brick cornice. It stands two storeys tall and has five double-hung sash windows with moulded frames and segmental arches. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with two panels containing new glass, set in a panelled reveal. This door is framed by wood architrave and a plain surround, supported by ribbed consoles that carry a pediment.
To the right, there is a lower wing that has been partly rebuilt, with the eastern part serving as the new Stable Cottage. This section is also constructed of red brick and has a tiled roof with three modern dormers. It is one storey and has an attic, featuring a carriageway on the left, with two windows and a door on the right, all of which have segmental arches.
