Description

Ashley Cottage Town Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, is a red brick building with an old tiled roof, hipped at the east end and extending to connect with No 108 at the west end. A large brick stack is situated between the two houses. The building is two storeys high, with two three-light casement windows on each floor. The left side (No 106) features a three-light casement and a front door sheltered by a long cornice hood; on the right is a further three-light casement. Ashley Cottage (No 106A) has a central modern door, also under a hood supported by brackets, flanked by two three-light casement windows. All windows have painted, cambered arches. A modern hipped roofed rear wing extends from No 106.
