Description

This is an 18th-century building on the north side of Amersham High Street, originally two cottages. The front is constructed of red and grey brick, topped with an old tile roof and a moulded brick cornice. It is two storeys high. The upper floor has two three-light wood mullion casement windows with segmental arches. The ground floor on the right has a segmental bow shop window with seven panes across and four deep, featuring a frieze and cornice. A hood covers the two doors in the centre; a four-panel flush door is on the left, a modern window on the right, and a double-hung sash window with a cambered arch sits to the left of the door. An old iron sign bracket is located between the first-floor windows.
