Description

The Mill Cottage is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed cottage located in Hever Four Elms. It has two storeys and features three irregularly placed windows. The roof is tiled and hipped at the right, with two small gables above the first-floor windows. There is a projecting chimney at the left end of the building. The cottage displays visible square framing with limewashed brick filling. Modern small leaded casements are present, including two oriel windows on the ground floor, which are sheltered by pent hoods. The oriel on the left extends to cover a plain boarded door.
