Description
The granary located to the north of Oak Farm House is an early 18th century timber-framed building. It features stables on the ground floor, with a granary and loft above. The loft was once used as a wool store, although part of it at the east end was removed to accommodate a now-removed oast house. The building has a hipped tiled roof and brick walls, with new windows fitted into the original openings. Inside, much of the original timber and old plaster is still visible. The roof is well preserved, showcasing a flush framed design, with a forked king post at the hip end that supports the hip rafter, ridge, valley, and principal.
