Description

Owls Court is a 16th century or earlier house, which has undergone significant restoration and may have once been a hall house. It is two storeys and has an attic, with a five-window facade and an irregular layout. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled, featuring a compound stack and two hipped-gabled dormers. The first floor is clad in tiles, while the ground floor is brick. A modern plank door is set within a gabled porch, and modern casement windows are present. The building is founded on a base of large rubble masonry. Modern rear extensions have been added. Inside, much of the original timber framing and heavy beams remain, along with a rebuilt inglenook.
