Description

Moorcocks is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 16th century or earlier, and probably originally a hall. It has undergone alterations and additions over time. The building is two storeys and an attic, with four windows arranged irregularly. It has a high-pitched tiled roof, altered on the right, with a ridge stack. The structure is composed of two builds; the left part is likely later. The first floor exhibits visible timber framing with brick infilling, except for the tile-hung left bay. The ground floor is brick. Modern leaded casement windows are present. Two dormers are above the first-floor windows, with an additional dormer located on the left side. Exposed posts are visible on the right return. Modern rear additions have been made.
