Description
Hever Lodge is a house built around 1904 by Frank Loughborough Pearson, formerly serving as the bailiff's house for Hever Castle. It features an irregular plan in the Kentish vernacular style, constructed with a timber frame and plastered infill. The roof is tiled and includes two brick chimneystacks. The entrance front displays three gables with pendants and ovolo-moulding, along with three mullioned windows. The entrance is set back in the angle and features a studded plank door. The left side elevation has a projecting jetty, a circular colonnade, and long down braces. The rear of the house includes a half-hipped gable. At the time of the survey, the interior contained the original architect's drawing for the bailiff's house and the entire model farm complex.
