Description

The former haybarn at Hever Lodge, built around 1904 by Frank Loughborough Pearson, is now used as a barbecue area. It is part of the model farm complex associated with Hever Castle. The structure is open and supported by nine tapering posts, with all but the central post reinforced by passing braces. It features a tiled roof with half-hipped gables that include louvred openings. The roof is designed with angled queen struts and windbraces supporting the rafters.
