Description

CHART SUTTON CHURCH ROAD TQ 8049-8149 (east side) 7/35 Chart Place Cottages 26.4.68 (formerly listed as Chart Place Farmhouse) GV II

Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Early C18. Chequered red and grey brick with plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret on rendered plinth. Plain wooden eaves band. Shaped gables. Central brick ridge stack. West gable end has 2-light pivoting casement to garret, narrow rectangular first floor light and small ground floor casement. Boarded door to centre of gable end under flat bracketted hood. 2 boarded doors to north elevation. Interior not inspected. Forms south side of an open courtyard. See also items 7/36 and 7/37.
