Description
Priory House is a house that was formerly a school, dating from the 17th century with 19th-century additions. It features a timber frame with roughcast exterior and a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic set on a brick plinth. There is a continuous jetty with roughcast end piers, and the roof is hipped to the left with the hip returning. The house has five rear stacks, some of which are linked to the rear additions. A gabled dormer is present, and the windows have an irregular arrangement, consisting of three 3-light casements. A half-glazed door is located between the left and central stacks. There is a short left return wing with a 19th-century pentice, along with additional 19th-century structures at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The building was formerly known as The Old Vicarage.
