Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century, or possibly earlier, with a facade added in the 19th century. The building is timber framed and clad with coursed stone, featuring irregular red brick patches around the windows. The right end bay is either clad or built with red brick. It has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high on a stone plinth. The roof is hipped to the left, with a lower ridge towards the right end, and the main roof hipped down to it. There is a central brick ridge stack on the stone-faced section, which is corbelled and has a fillet. The house features two hipped dormers and has an irregular arrangement of three 20th-century casements: one three-light window towards each end and a central two-light window. The entrance has a panelled door with two top lights set in a chamfered rendered architrave beneath the stack. The interior has not been inspected.
