Description
Forstal Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with a facade added in the 19th century. It is timber framed, with the ground floor featuring rendered brick at the front and stone on the gable ends. The first floor is tile-hung, and the gable ends are weatherboarded. The roof is made of plain tiles and has a steep pitch, with a hipped design and a gablet on the right side, where the right hip returns. There is a brick stack located towards the center of the roof. The building has an irregular arrangement of four 3-light casement windows. A boarded door is set in a gabled painted brick porch beneath the stack. To the right, there is a rear wing with a stone ground floor and weatherboarding above, which includes a gable end stack. The interior has not been inspected.
