Description
Chestnut Farm is a farmhouse that dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. The building has a timber frame, with the ground floor covered in painted brick and the first floor featuring tile-hanging. It has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high with a garret and a half-hipped roof. There is an off-centre ridge stack located to the right. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of four casements: two with two lights, one with three lights, and one with four lights. A narrow brick porch sits beneath the stack, featuring an oak front door, and there is a lean-to on the right side of the building, along with some rear extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
