Description
The Harrow Public House is a mid-18th century building that has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick with occasional grey headers in Flemish bond and features a plain tile roof. The building stands two storeys high on a prominent stone plinth, with a painted plat band in English bond and a plain wooden eaves cornice. There are end stacks, with the right stack projecting and the left stack incorporated into a later addition. The fenestration is irregular, featuring three 2-light casements, while the ground floor has four 2-light casements with segmental heads. A central 20th-century brick porch with a half-glazed door is located on the left side. There is a two-storey addition to the left and a single-storey addition to the right, which are not included in the listing. The interior has only been partially inspected but includes exposed beams and an inglenook on the ground floor.
