Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with a facade from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is timber framed and partly close-studded, with most of the front elevation covered in mathematical tiles. The ground floor and the entire left gable end are constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond. The building has a plain tile roof and is two storeys high, standing on a stone plinth that forms a semi-basement on the left side. The roof is hipped, and there is a brick ridge stack located towards the left end. The windows feature irregular fenestration with three 2-light casements. A half-glazed door is accessed by three steps and is situated under an open wooden porch beneath the stack. There is a rear wing to the right with a hipped roof, and the left gable end extends to the rear and returns towards the right wing. The interior has not been inspected.
