Description

This is a house, originally a row of houses, likely dating to the 16th century or earlier. The ground floor is constructed of red and grey brick in an English bond pattern, while the first floor and gable ends are clad with weatherboarding. The roof is covered in plain tiles and has a steeply pitched design with gablets. A brick ridge stack is located towards the right end, and a slender brick stack sits between the left end and a lean-to addition. The windows are irregular, consisting of three casements – one with three lights and two with two lights. There are two boarded front doors, each protected by a flat bracketed hood: one is positioned to the right of the ridge stack for number 9, and the other towards the left end for number 10. A 19th-century lean-to addition extends to the left, featuring a slate roof and a boarded door with a flat bracketed hood for number 10. The interior has not been inspected.
