Description

Hen and Duckhurst is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with a facade added in the 19th century. The building is timber framed, with the ground floor rendered and the first floor covered in banded plain and fishscale tiles. The right gable end is weatherboarded on the ground floor and tile-hung above. It has a plain tile roof, is two storeys high with a garret, and features a half-hipped roof. There is a multiple brick ridge stack located towards the centre of the roof. The windows are arranged irregularly and consist of two 3-light casements. A boarded door is situated behind an open rustic porch under the stack, and there is a rear lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
