Description

Forge Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tile roof. The building is positioned at right angles to the road and has two storeys. The roof is hipped, featuring a higher ridge to the left of the stack. There is a broad rear stack towards the left end and a multiple brick ridge stack located to the left of centre. The fenestration is irregular, consisting of three 2-light casements. A boarded door is situated towards the front of the left gable end. At the rear, there is a lean-to of varied width. The interior has not been inspected.
