Description
Manor Cottages is a farmhouse that has been converted into two cottages, dating from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. The timber frame of the building is concealed by 18th-century red brick elevations. There is a tile-hung gable end on the right side, and the roof is plain tiled with a central stack located off-slope to the rear. The structure features a central jettied gabled semi-dormer with exposed framing and diagonal brick nogging. It has a lobby entrance type and is one storey with an attic, displaying an irregular front with three windows, all of which are casements. The central entrance is a boarded door, and part of the frame is exposed at the rear, showcasing one curved brace.
