Description

This is a 17th-century house with additions dating to the early 19th century and the 20th century, located in Thatcham Crookham. The structure is primarily brick, with timber framing and brick infilling, covered by an old tile roof. A hipped dormer window projects from the east side. The property features end stacks to the north and a ridge stack to the south, which incorporates two diamond-shaped shafts and a central square shaft. The house follows a T-plan, with two framed bays on the north side. The north arm of the building is two storeys and an attic in height, while the south arm is three storeys. The east-facing front of the north arm displays irregular window placement, including one window on the second floor, three on the first floor, and two on the ground floor. All windows are casement windows. A half-glazed door is located centrally on the right side of the east front.
