Description

Oak Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It is timber framed with white painted brick infilling, and has a tiled roof which is hipped on the right and half-hipped on the left. There are three stacks: one on the left end, one on the central ridge, and one off-centre to the right. The house has two storeys and three framed bays, with three windows on each floor, featuring leaded casements. A two-storey gabled porch, dated to the 20th century, is located on the left. A 19th-century weatherboarded and tiled outbuilding projects from the right side. Inside, a large fireplace from the 17th century is a notable feature.
