Description
Crookham End House is an early 19th-century house located in Thatcham. The building is rendered and features a plinth, with deep eaves supporting a tiled roof that is hipped to the left and gabled to the right, complete with stone coping. There are two stacks, with one end stack positioned to the right. The house is two storeys high and has five bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes, all with exposed wooden boxes and moulded surrounds, except for three on the left side of the ground floor. There is a blank window in the ground floor, located in the second bay from the left. The doorway is situated in the fourth bay from the left and features a six-panelled door, a semi-circular radial fanlight, a moulded surround, and a Doric porch supported by two columns that lack entasis and have a deep cornice.
