Description
Hyde End House is an 18th-century house located on Hyde End Lane in Brimpton. The building is constructed of stucco that has been incised to resemble ashlar stone. It features deep bracketed eaves and a large triangular pediment above the central three bays, which includes a recessed circular panel in the tympanum. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are two stacks symmetrically placed on the roof. The house has two storeys and five bays, with glazing bar sash windows; the ground floor windows have blind hoods. A central porch made of ashlar stone is supported by coupled Tuscan columns and has double panelled doors with sidelights.
