SU 56 SE KINGSCLERE WOODHOUSE LANE 4/1 10.1.53 Woodhouse Farmhouse (formerly listed under Ashford Hill)

Early C19, mid Cl9. Symmetrical front (west) of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Half-hipped tile roof, brick dentil eaves. Walling of blue header brickwork with red rubbed flat arches. Later casements. Recent plain tall doorcase, with old patterned fanlight and 6-panelled (4 glazed) door. The north end has a recent angular bay, with sashes. A later extension at the rear is slightly lower, of red brickwork and has sash windows; where the main block projects from its west end the rear wall (of the main block) has an original sash window.
