Description
Woodhouse Farmhouse is an early 19th century building, with some mid-19th century features. It has a symmetrical front facing west, consisting of two storeys and three windows. The roof is half-hipped and covered with tiles, and there are brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of blue header brickwork, accented with red rubbed flat arches. The windows are later casements. The entrance features a recent plain tall doorcase, which includes an old patterned fanlight and a six-panelled door, four of which are glazed. At the north end, there is a recent angular bay with sash windows. A later extension at the rear is slightly lower, constructed of red brickwork and also featuring sash windows. The rear wall of the main block, where it projects from the west end, retains an original sash window.
