Description
Whitehouse Farmhouse is an early 19th-century building with a 20th-century addition. It is a square block, with the eastern half being the more recent part. The symmetrical front faces west and features two storeys with three windows. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, while the walls are made of painted brickwork up to dado height, above which are scalloped tiles. The windows are sashes set in reveals. A tall open porch has simple mouldings on the cornice, a plain frieze, and a plain cap on the square columns, which are chamfered to create an octagonal shape. The doorframe includes a fanlight and a six-panelled door. On the north side, there are two old leaded windows and painted brick walling in Flemish bond with a plinth. The south side is also hung with scalloped tiles and features two sashes, a French door, and an old leaded casement. The new section matches the original design but has larger windows.
