Description

Hillside Cottage is a small house that dates from the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It features heavy timber framing and has had later extensions added. The building is two storeys high and has two windows. The roof is made of modern wavy pantiles, with single slopes on the end outshots and large tapered stacks at the north end. The frame is bricknogged, with the walling raised above it to meet the eaves. The lesser extension on the north side includes brickwork and some stonework, while the south side has modern brickwork. The windows are casements, and there is a modern gabled brick porch.
