Description

Primrose Cottages is a late 17th century timber-framed house that has been renovated into a symmetrical pair of cottages, with later outshots at each end. The building is one storey with an attic and features four windows. It has a half-hipped tile roof, hipped outshots, and gabled dormers with cills at eaves level. The frame is mostly exposed at the rear (north side) and partially exposed at the front, with red brick infill and other walling in English bond. The windows are modern casements. There are two open porches with gabled roofs supported by brick columns, and at the rear, there are gabled canopies above plain doors.
