Description

This is an 18th-century farmhouse with later 19th-century additions. It has a nearly symmetrical front elevation facing east, with two storeys and an attic, and originally three windows. The roof is tiled, with a central gabled dormer close to the ridge; the later extension at the rear has a slate roof. The brick walls are red, laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with a continuous blue brick band on the first floor. The ground-floor openings are arched, and one brick is inscribed with the date 1768. The windows are Victorian sash windows set into reveals. The doorway is plain. There are extensions to the rear and south dating from the late 19th century.
