Description

Wellmeadow Cottage is a timber-framed house that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 20th centuries. It has two storeys and features irregular window arrangements. The cottage is topped with a thatched roof and has a large, tapered brick chimney at the south end. The exposed framing shows its early construction periods, with painted brick infill and rendering over wattle. The ground-floor front, facing east, is made of brickwork. It has casement windows and a recent porch made of brick and tiles.
