Description
Fairfield Cottage is a timber-framed house that dates from the 17th century, with later additions from the 20th century. It is one storey with an attic and features irregular window placements. The house has a half-hipped thatched roof, which includes 'eyebrow' dormers. The exposed frame is complemented by painted brick infill and other types of walling. The windows are casements, and there is a modern door; the former entrance has been fitted with a window.
