Description

Spring Cottage is a timber-framed house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with early 20th-century additions. It is a one-storey and attic building with a thatched roof that is half-hipped and features eyebrow dormers. The timber frame is exposed in places, with some rendered infill and narrow bands of flint and brick. The lower wall of the north gable is brickwork with flint panels, while the rear elevation consists of painted brickwork and modern boarding. Casement windows are present, and the doorway is plain. This building holds group value from the period.
