Description

Springhill Lodge is a two-storey house built in the mid-19th century. It features a gabled central projection on the south elevation and a half-hexagon on the east side, which faces the driveway. The house has a slate roof with scalloped bargeboards and is constructed of painted brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with cambered openings. The windows have cast-iron frames, and there is an oriel window above the doorway in the centre of the east elevation. A slate-roofed verandah wraps around the east side, supported by posts.
