Description

The Post Office Outbuilding is an early 18th century to early 19th century structure. The front section likely began as a cottage and was later extended to function as a stable and utility block for the adjacent house. It is a two-storey building that runs at right angles to the roadway, featuring irregular openings and a slate roof. The north (inner) elevation displays exposed timber-framing on the west side, with brick infill, while the remaining walls are constructed of flint with brick dressings, including quoins and bands. The building has casement windows and boarded doors.
