Description

Wayfarers Cottage and Diplands Cottage date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The symmetrical front, facing southeast, features two storeys and an attic with three windows. It has a half-hipped thatch roof and painted brickwork in Flemish bond, with cambered openings on the ground floor. The windows are casements, and there is a modern brick porch. The northwest section of the building is from the later period, characterized by a slate roof and rendered walling, with modern casements and a half-glazed door.
