Description

The barn west of the house dates from the 18th century and early 19th century. It has an L-shaped timber frame constructed in two periods: the older section consists of five bays with aisles, while the later section has four bays with one aisle. The older part features a Queen post truss, and the newer section has both straight and curved strutting. The roof is primarily tiled, except for a central section of corrugated asbestos over the later unit. The walls are weather-boarded.
