Description
Bigfrith Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a cottage. It dates from the early 17th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features a timber frame with brick infill, and part of it is under-built in brick. It has an old tile gabled roof and a rectangular plan consisting of three framed bays. The structure is two storeys high with attics and has end chimneys with clay pots on the gables. On the southwest side, there are three gabled dormers. The entrance front has mostly exposed timber framing and an irregular arrangement of windows, which include 2- and 3-light 19th-century casements with bars. To the left, there is a plain door that has a pedimented hood above it.
