Description

The ice house, likely built in the 18th century, was restored in 1984. It is constructed of brick and features a circular shape with a conical roof. The entrance tunnel has a semicircular roof and a brick floor. The front, which was restored in 1984, includes a 20th-century semicircular brick arch with a replica planked door and strap hinges. There is a plaque on the right side that reads, "This ice house was built c.1760 for the storage of ice for Bisham Abbey. Restored by Christopher Wallis on behalf of Bisham Parish Council in 1984." This building is included for its historic interest.
