Description

This is a house dating from the 15th or 16th century. It is timber-framed with gault brick cladding on the left side and rendered infilling on the right. The roof is covered with plain tiles, steeply pitched and gabled to the left, with a half-hip to the right. There is a multiple brick ridge stack at the left end and a small projecting brick stack at the right end. A dormer window is located off-centre to the left and features a 3-light ground floor casement window beneath. A 20th-century half-glazed door is set within a 20th-century brick extension at the left end. This building holds group value as a well-preserved example of a medieval timber-framed structure.
