Description
Coopers Cottage is a house dating from the late 15th century or early 16th century. It has a timber frame, with the ground floor finished in painted brick and the first floor rendered. The right gable end is tile hung, and it features a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys with an attic and has a jettied front. Its roof is higher and has a steeper pitch compared to the adjacent properties at Nos. 44 and 42. The roof is gabled where it meets No. 42 and hipped on the right side. There is a multiple stack on the rear slope of the roof at the left end, a small dormer with a hipped roof, and a 2-light casement window in the centre of the first floor. The entrance is marked by a panelled door located towards the right end of the house.
