Description
Little Woodlands is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with a facade from the 19th century. It features a timber frame, with the ground floor of the front elevation made of painted brick and the first floor being tile-hung. The right gable end and rear show exposed framing. The roof is covered in plain tiles and has a steeply pitched hipped design. The house has two low storeys set on a flint plinth. The right gable end includes a central full-height post, broadly spaced studs, and tension braces. A multiple brick ridge stack is located towards the right end. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of three casements: one single-light and one two-light to the left of the stack, and one two-light to the right. There is a boarded door in a narrow painted brick porch with a plain tile roof situated between the left and central windows, as well as another boarded door towards the right end. At the rear, there is a central two-storey rendered turret, possibly a stair turret, topped with a hipped plain tile roof. The interior has not been inspected.
