Description

The dovecote in the garden of Medway House is an 18th-century structure built from chequered red and grey brick on a galletted stone plinth, topped with a plain tile roof. It has a square shape with a hipped roof on all sides, featuring small gabled dormers on all sides except the east. The roof hips end in small square wooden louvres with conical lead roofs. There is a plain door located in the center of the west wall. Inside, there are ten storeys of brick nesting boxes in each wall.
