Description

The dovecote south of Chicheley Hall is an 18th-century octagonal building made of red brick, featuring darker brick quoins. It has a moulded brick plinth, a stone coved eaves cornice, and a domed roof covered with ogee tiles, which was once topped by an arcaded wooden cupola. There is a small door on the north face with a flat gauged brick arch. The interior retains its nesting boxes and collecting ladder, which are intact.
