Description
The summerhouse located northeast of Chicheley Hall is a ruined 18th-century small octagonal building made of red brick, featuring darker brick quoins, a moulded plinth, and a cornice. The entrance is on the east side, flanked by gauged brick piers and topped with a flat gauged brick arch that includes a stone key block carved as a head, with flanking skulls, one of which is missing. The moulded doorframe surrounds a damaged fielded panelled door. There are windows on the north and south sides, each with flat gauged brick arches and heavy frames, although the sashes are missing. The interior contains arched recesses, but the roof is missing.
