Description

Caresend is a house dating from the late 15th century or 16th century. It is timber-framed and weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and sits on a flint plinth. The roof is hipped at both ends, resulting in a short ridge. There is a central gault brick ridge stack. Each end of the house features one sash window. At the rear and on the ends, there are lean-tos. The house has three plank doors: one in each lean-to and one slightly off-centre to the right.
