Description

The dovecote at Wilsford House, dating from the 18th century, is located against the churchyard wall and is currently used as a wood store. It is constructed from flint and limestone and features a tiled roof. The building has a square plan and includes a round-headed door on the south side. The roof is hipped, with a square glover that also has a hipped tiled roof. Dormer vents are present on three sides. Inside, the walls are lined with approximately 500 nest boxes arranged in 12 tiers, along with flight ledges, while the bottom section is lined with timber dado. A central pivoted pole is also present.
