Description

Parsonage Cottage, also known as The Parsonage, is a pair of late 19th-century estate cottages built for J. Lovibond of Lake House. The cottages are constructed using in-situ concrete with integral vertical timbers, and have a thatched roof. Each cottage is two storeys and an attic, with two bays per cottage. A rustic timber thatched porch was originally present on the outer bays; this has been replaced on The Parsonage. The windows are timber casements, with some upper windows cut into the thatch. Two brick stacks are visible. A noteworthy feature is the unusual use of in-situ concrete in the construction.
