Description

Beechway is an estate cottage built in 1903 for Sir Edward Tennant. It features rendered brick construction and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays. The entrance is located between the first and second bays, set within a rustic log and thatched porch. It has leaded timber windows and two dormers on either side. The upper floor jetties out at the north gable end, while the south gable displays a datestone inscribed with "EPT 1903." The roof is half hipped at the north end, and there is a large brick chimney opposite the entrance, along with a secondary stack on the rear wall of the north end room.
